Mobile laser scanning
Today is one of the most high-tech survey methods. Mobile scanning is reminiscent of quite widely used, terrestrial scan, but unlike terrestrial scanning, mobile scanning is performed while moving the scanner is installed on the vehicle.
Mobile laser scanning is ideal for urban areas. It should be done for geodetic surveys and monitoring the state of roads and railways, assessment of technical conditions of tunnels, three-dimensional modeling of urban infrastructure and other facilities along the transport routes.
Fast, accurate and eye-safe lasers coupled with high-speed drives to scan, have large fields of view, allow you to collect large amounts of survey data with the utmost detail in large buildings, regardless of cloud cover, at any time of the day or night.
If shooting a large area built-up area Total Stations can take weeks, a mobile scanner can handle it for a few hours.
The quality of the data will not yield to traditional methods of shooting.
The technology used for the massive mapping and 3D-modeling of linear infrastructure (roads, railways, power lines, streets of cities), polygon objects of complex structure and high detail (settlements, interchanges and overpasses in several levels, rocky coast, the tailrace of the dam (with boats), and the like.
Accuracy — 5-8 cm, detail draw — 1-5 cm, capacity — up to 500 linear km of shooting a day (the width of the swath — 50-250 m).
Applications mobile laser scanning
Analysis of roads and railways:
— Mapping and database infrastructure (signs, traffic light, dividing lines it.d.)
— Check the quality pavement and monitoring of deviations over time
— Creating a 3-D model of pavement and subgrade, in order to develop the project of building reconstruction, repair and monitoring of the road;
— Identify defects pavement (rutting, the presence of holes and cracks, the actual transverse and longitudinal slope of the roadway)
— Creation of three-dimensional models of infrastructure, certification of roads, GIS, executive survey, the establishment of longitudinal and transverse profiles and etc.
Creating three-dimensional models and topographical plans of TPP, HPP, outdoor switchgear and substations, transmission lines .
Architecture and urban planning:
— Creating 3D models of urban areas and the transfer of information in the GIS system, the preservation of cultural heritage and monuments;
— Monitoring of architectural urban infrastructure
Oil and gas industry, metallurgy and heavy industry:
Creating three-dimensional models, topographic plans, recording industry executive, compressor stations, opencast mining, etc.
